What we repair on an Apple Watch
- Screen replacement
- Cracked glass, a display lifting at one edge, or touch that has stopped responding along a strip. A Watch screen is bonded to a very thin frame, so it is delicate work rather than a quick swap.
- Battery replacement
- A Watch that no longer reaches the evening, or one whose screen has started to lift because the cell underneath has swollen. The second is the more urgent of the two.
- Assessed, not assumed
- Four Watch models are priced in the estimator, and it is the shortest list here for a reason: on a device this small, a lifting screen and a swollen battery look identical from the outside and are different repairs. Yours is opened and looked at before a number is given.

Parts and what the price depends on
A Watch screen is bonded to a very thin frame and sealed for water resistance. Once it has been opened, that seal is not what it was from the factory, and we will tell you that before you agree to the repair rather than after. For some models the honest answer is that a replacement watch is the better buy.
Questions we get asked
- The screen is lifting away at one edge.
- Stop wearing it and bring it in. A screen lifting on its own, without a drop, is usually the battery swelling underneath and pushing it off — which is a battery repair, not a screen one, and it gets worse if it is left.
- Can you repair any Apple Watch?
- Four models are priced in the estimator, which is the narrowest list on the site. Others are still taken in and assessed, but ring before you make a trip for one so we can tell you honestly whether it is worth it.
- My Watch will not turn on at all.
- That is assessed rather than quoted from the description — on a Watch a flat battery, a failed screen and a board fault all present the same way. It is the same bench work as a phone that will not power on.
- Is an Apple Watch repair worth it?
- Sometimes, and sometimes not. We assess it first and tell you plainly — on some models the repair approaches the price of a used replacement.
- Will it still be water resistant?
- Not to the original rating. Any Watch that has been opened has had its seal disturbed. We would rather you knew that up front.
