How the price is worked out
The estimator above reads the same table the counter rings up, so what it shows is what the shop is charging today rather than a figure typed into a page months ago. It is still an estimate: two things move it.
The assessment. What is wrong is not always what it looks like. A screen that has stopped responding can be the display or the board behind it; a phone that will not charge can be the port, the battery or neither. We confirm the quote once the device is open, and if it turns out to be the cheaper fault you pay for the cheaper fault.
The grade of part. On many models a screen comes in more than one grade — an aftermarket panel, or an OEM refurbished screen carrying the original manufacturer glass. Both are fitted the same way and both carry the same warranty; what differs is colour accuracy, brightness and how the panel behaves under pressure. Both figures are shown, and the choice is yours rather than ours.
What is priced, and what has to be assessed first
Part-replacement work is priced per model, and most of it is in the estimator: screens, batteries, charging ports, back glass, front and rear cameras, speakers, earpieces and microphones. Coverage varies by device — an iPhone has fifteen repair types priced against it, a Galaxy ten, an Apple Watch two.
Board-level work is not priced that way, because it is not a part swap. No-power faults, water damage and micro-soldering are diagnosed on the bench first and quoted after, since what the job needs depends on what failed. Anything the estimator cannot answer for is quoted the same way.
We will beat a written quote by 5%
If another shop has quoted you in writing for the same repair, bring it in and we will beat it by five per cent. It has to be a written quote for the same job on the same device — that is the only condition.
Warranty
Every repair carries one — 6 or 12 months depending on the part fitted, and 3 months on some board-level work. Water damage recovery carries no warranty, because corrosion keeps spreading after a clean and a device working when you collect it can still fail later from the original spill. - How much does an iPhone screen replacement cost?
- It depends on the model and on which grade of part you choose — we usually offer more than one, and the right one depends on the device and how you use it. Use the estimator on this page for a starting price for your exact model, or ring the shop on 0466 446 461 and we will talk it through.
- Do you repair phones other than iPhone and Samsung?
- Yes. We repair Google Pixel, Motorola, Oppo, Vivo, Sony, Realme, Xiaomi, Redmi, OnePlus and Nothing, as well as iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and Windows laptops. If a brand is not in the estimator, bring the device in — we still take it, and quote after inspection.
- Can you repair a charging port?
- Yes, and it is one of the more common jobs. Charging ports are priced per model in the estimator, alongside screens, batteries, back glass, cameras, speakers, earpieces and microphones. Worth knowing before you pay for anything: a phone that will not charge is often a worn cable or a pocketful of lint in the port, and we would rather tell you that than take the job.
- Can a repair be done the same day?
- Most phone screens and batteries are done the same day, usually within an hour while you wait. Most other repairs take one to three hours. Board-level work takes days rather than hours, because it is diagnostic.
